Virgen de la Providencia
En esta obra, de origen europeo, el autor aporta una innovación en la iconografía: recrea la ternura maternal de la Virgen con Jesús que, dormido, apoya la cabecita en el hombro de su Madre; la pieza conserva ciertas características habituales en le vestido de la Virgen como la túnica rosa y el manto azul. Un velo transparente cubre parte del hombro y cabeza del Niño. Según Trens, la Virgen de la Provincia se distingue por llevar al Niño Jesús dormido en sus brazos o en su regazo. Esta iconografía mariana suele confundirse también con la de la Virgen del Reposo.
