El bautizo de la Virgen María
En esta escena apócrifa, Antonio de Torres representó a Jesús bautizando a su madre ante la mirada complaciente del Padre Eterno. Según la doctrina cristiana, la Virgen María es la única criatura que nació sin la mancha del pecado original, que se quita con el sacramento del bautismo. Sin embargo, algunos pintores, como es el caso de Torres, inventaron esta escena.
